Mad Marqy the villain released from his cell and escorted to the next race.

Rossi the hero’s reaction to Mad Marqy appearing on the grid.

The hand of apology at the time indicates that he felt guilty so IMO only but he went there to apologise, although whether this was his idea or that of Puig who did seem to be leading him there is open for conjecture.

Either way, he did not get a chance as the bodyguard appeared and made it clear that Marquez was unwanted so we never know.

Was it hand of apology? Perhaps it was: Dude, no hard feelings, OK?

To me it looked more apologetic as he seems to turn to look and so forth whereas others (and perhaps even him at times) do not turn or offer any apology.

I know that when I played tennis years back (inter club) I had a system that if I looked at you when apologising (by gesture or words), then I meant it and had respect for you, but if I simply held up my hand as an apology with no words and was not looking your direction - then the apology was half hearted as I may have been sorry but did not respect you enough to make it a full apology.

But what you say may well be right as in many ways, Marquez is the new Rossi in that he has (Had) a folloeing as was the next annointed

Guess we will have to wait for the book to come out

Why don’t you log into the little Walter account and post something smart?
That’s your last resort whenever things get a bit too hot to handle innit?

(EDIT Speaking of your contention that I/we choose to take notice only of retired riders with a viewpoint sympathetic to mine/ours, which like much of your witless prattle applies in spades to you yourself, I raise your Kevin fucking Schwantz and give you Giacomo fucking Agostini. I called Schwantz a fan btw, not a fanboy, but if the cap fits in regard to you being a fanboy yourself feel free to wear it; perhaps you are finally making progress with the insight thing.)
I have seen actual doorknobs smarter than you.

Actually being able to find a doorknob is perhaps another stage in your own intellectual advancement. If you work out one day how to use one to open a door for Valentino perhaps you might have prospects of taking over Uccio’s job.
