Now go read another shitty tabloid.
If they are still looking for hundreths 3 years into project when you are 1 1/2 seconds down, you are pissing money down the drain.

They were at weird tracks and their most competent rider (kallio) is sitting at home, twiddling his thumbs.

I would wait until the euro rounds, especially one where all three bikes are on the grid to judge more fairly where they stand.

Sure, I wouldn't underestimate what either KTM or Red Bull can do, up to and including making Gigi, or whomever else, an offer he can't refuse, etc. They hired Adrian Newey in F1.

Agreed. Doesn't Kalio have 5 races this year?
It's weird, the UK commentators are very protective of Brad, (which I understand) but unfortunately, the empirical evidence of Kalio's results are pretty unavoidable.
I will however avoid judgement until I see how he does on the 18 bike.

Kallio was pretty decent on the pramac Ducati back when he had a race seat.
Such a shame they didn’t replace Dudley Smith with him.

If Riccardo is demanding $66m from Red Bull I'm sure Red Bull KTM can afford whoever they want.

It would seem he has them over a barrel.

From my admittedly biased perspective they are looking as though they are reconsidering a previous decision to go with Verstappen.

I don't follow f1 closely but I would love to see Ricciardo on a championship capable machine. I still remember when he thrashed all the other f1 drivers on top gears reasonably priced car.

I don't know, but my thinking is that the only reason the KTM is 1 second off pace is the inability of its 2 current riders to give any real feedback to the team.I'd like the other rider to be Miguel Olivera.

Adrian Newey works best when he has stable platforms to work with such as the championship winning cars of 2010-2013. Frozen development on the V8 engines did wonders for providing that stable platform. Excellent aero guy, but his cars have also been noted for their fragility such as the 2005 McLaren MP4/20 which was the fastest car on the grid, but plagued by unreliability issues that ultimately cost them a real shot at the title that year. The car was so fast Kimi Raikkonen took victory at Suzuka after starting 17th on the grid.
