On a serious note, gutted for Folger. They already know he won’t recover for the season? Can’t be good.

Man, if only Stoner got on that Yamaha.

He'd be a hell of a shot at the title!

Caramello wouldnít allow Casey or JLo any where near that ride.
Not without installing one of VRís mechanics into the team....just in case

Yamaha loves to do this. They love to replace injured riders with garbage riders. I assume they are doing this to not show other teams talent in situations where they aren't actually looking for talent. Whatever, I'm sure he will sell some shirt in Malaysia cruising around in last.

It certainly is an obscure choice... I am intrigued to see how he fares.

They should have just bought Stefan Bradl out of his test rider contract.
Herve’s principles only stop him from poaching riders with a racing contract, right?

Herve was never gonna buy anyone outta anything. Syahrin will bring money.

Exactly. It seems like this move has more to do with moving Adam Norrodin into moto2 as he is the better talent. I would rather have seen tech3 sign him. Wait which one almost won Sepang?

It's a perfect deal. Tech3 don't need two fast riders. They have the fast Zarco and now Syarin, which bring money into the team. It couldn't get any better for Tech3.

Yea, I have heard mention of the Sepang consortium paying Herve to have the Malaysian rider in GP. The payoff will payoff in spades in ticket sales later this year. Not a bad choice considering there wasnít going to be a rider who could compete. Either way he was going to have a backmarker but at least he is getting paid .
