Were that to happen... this forum would be lit up half-way through the winter.

Jesus saves, but Marquez does it better.
Whatever Honda pay him, they need to add some zeros.

As for Lorenzo, he looks to be growing in confidence with the duke. A confident George is a very fast George.
Its pronounced "whore he" not George

Hard to judge by QP2. Was surprised to see Pedrosa do that well, considering how hard it is for him to get heat into the tires, given that the bike likely carried minimal fuel. Marquez was clearly having issues. Unless having a full tank mitigates the rear wheel spin, I can't see him successfully running anything like those laptimes for the duration of the race.

Hodgson hopes that's what happens. He's also saying that because Marquez hasn't crashed in a race for a while he due for a crash in sepang. Again it's just another hope. He such a yellow fanboy he prays with all his might that Marquez won't equal his idols accomplishments. Marquez isn't stupid, nor is his team they know how vindictive Rossi is they've probably talked about and planned for something like this. Honda and team Marquez have probably gone to RD with their worries as well.

Italians have a history of helping other Italians and/or cheating their way to championships. I don't think Dovi wants to win this way though.

Seems pretty natural to want your countryman to win, there was no denial of it in 2015 was there?
To be honest a dnf for Marquez and a win for Dovi would set up an exciting end of season race which imo is what the majority of race fans want.

Rossi will be looking to get away with leaders to fight for a win

....the one that has or should mess with MM is JLo....after all JLo did say he would help Dovi during the last 2 races of the season....so by holding MM up, or passing him at any chance he can is his job for Ducati and will help Dovi.....

Unless of course JLo owes MM, and just lets him go by unopposed to be up with Dovi and the leaders....

What will JLo do I wonder?

Jorge has too much integrity. He will race his own race.

The JLo speculations are interesting. What do you expect him to do? Deliberately block MM? Of course this is what Rossi (Uccio) claimed, even though the Spaniards were on different teams. Why must some revisit this terrible moment in racing history? The Religious Rossi Regiment just can't believe that Rossi screwed himself out of the championship race? It wasn't the first time that he hurt himself, you know?

I guess Ducati expects JLo to deliberately block MM. The blatant hypocrisy in this little tid-bit is comical. "No orders. But Jorge better do the right thing for Ducati, or else." ROFL
Lorenzo and Ducai expectations

I really hope there is no questionable activity during this race. It would just taint what ever happens. And how come no one thinks Pedrosa will do anything to help Marquez? They are from the same team and same country. If you really believe that crap, which after watching the Spaniards and Italians beat up on their fellow country men, I have doubts that it means that much. Some should go back and watch the famous Americans beat the hell out of each other and then talk about National Pride. LOL.

Somehow, when it comes to Marquez, him starting a couple of rows back just doesn't seem like that big a deal.

I think he is getting into Doohan territory, starting the race in a disciplined manner and try to stay out of trouble while the pretenders race for the holeshot and a few laps of glory on a full tank.....
