Pedrosa with pole, going to be the favorite for tomorrow.

4 crashes for Marquez today. Salvaged a 4th place start though so it could've been worse.

A lot of crashes though, not surprising crap track condititions and shitty tyres. Tomorrow could have major championship implications. If Vinaeles crashes it's game on again for the title. If Marquez, Pedrosa or Rossi crash their respective title hopes are finished.

If Jerez and Catalunya can't get their tracks sorted it's time to axe them until they do.

Marquez is the only guy who has shown pace over the weekend that he could beat him. Pedrosas lighter weight and smoother style should theoretically mean he will get more out of the tyres than others.

I wonder when the last time Pedrosa beat a team mate to two wins?

Edit to add: 2013 before that it was 2010.

All the speculation about the 070 tire appears to have missed the mark a tad. People who shouldn't like it are doing better and people that should like it are doing worse.

JLo has changed his style. Watch out GeePee-ers, he is coming together with the Ducati. Lucky for MM, he is usually already lying on the tarmac when he crashes.

I Ride: Whatever I can steal
Looking like a game of attrition tomorrow. Pedrosa looking good. Marquez clueless (or his crew is) and Ducatis looking to be the dark horse here. Expect an unexpected rider (Bautista?) to end up on the podium. Rossi will ride fairly conservative just to get points towards the championship. This is shaping up to be one of the most weirdly unpredictable seasons in decades.

Tell me Compa - where do you think Lorenzo will end up in the points this year? I love your boundless optimism.

This sounds odd to me, since I am not particularly a "fan" of Jlo. Thus "boundless optimism" is not really what I feel. The Ducati is better than most around here seem to think, and Lorenzo is adapting. He must have some skill to win three Championships against some tough competition, don't you think? And you add those twos together and you get four. But, I will give him fifth with my "optimism" for this year. Sixth is probably more realistic with the mediocre start. But, like Pedrosa, if he gets in a groove, he is very consistent.

I'll tell you why, its Spain and Dorna don't give a shit how bad the surfaces are. They only threaten other countries with the same track surfaces.
Personally I think there should be only 1 race per season in a given country.

Wait till the tires wear down. Mugello is not that physical a track as it's mostly fast flowing corners. If the Ducatis are running up front at the end of the race it will show improvement they have been looking for
