I Ride: Whatever I can steal
Miller's crash was really upsetting to watch. He was so lucky not to have got flung against the wall. I nearly shit myself watching that. Zarco looks great. I hope he doesn't give us a Qatar redux.

I Ride: Yamaha and Ducati
With all the crashes, the Q1 and Q2 drama and the Zarco show (it seems he's coping with pressure nicely after all... chapeau!) one shouldn't ovelook that the KTMs are getting there -- both in the top 10. They could soon become the only manufacturer who's officially present and doing well in all 3 classes.

Zarco
Vinales

...did JLo even show up for work today or did he just spit his dummy out over tire voting and decided to go slow for the rest of the weekend....?

I Ride: Shanks pony.
Rossi sounded confident in parc ferme , could be a good race between the Yamahas , looks like they have the pace for the win, hope Dani can fight through from row 5 as his lap times looked good.

Yeah, but he was trying to sink with his partner. The bike let him down. He deserves another 2 points for holding up the whole performance.

Good to see you posting JPSLotus. We will need to move on, just like after Marco.

I am still putting in a vote for MM to pressure the Yamahas.
Johnny will make Val nervous early on, and Cal and Marc will seize the opportunity to get in the mix. Marc is more aggressive at the start than Mav, so it is possible Mav won't disappear on them all. George will tool around until a couple people crash, and then take sixth. If it rains, all bets are off and Jack wins!!!
MdubSTYLIE, JPSLotus and Furiosa like this.

When would be the last time the front row of the grid was occupied by three Yamahas?

I looked at 2013, because it was a good year for Cal at Tech3. He was on the front row seven times, and had two poles. And it still didn't happen that year. Amazing.
I will check another year, later, unless someone beats me to it.

Much as I really hate what has happened to Nicky and hope that he recovers, life will carry on and I'm sure he would agree that, my feelings about the race are its being dedicated to him and quite rightly. On that basis, yes I am really looking forward to it especially with Zarco on the front row. Look out Rossi
