Would be a kick in the teeth for Rossi's theory that the rider makes the bike, not the other way around, wouldn't it? HRC sign Pedrosa, ace 250 champ, build and develop a bike for him all through 2006, he never even gets to see it until it's finished, and Pedrosa, sorry, HRC kicks Rossi's ass in 2007....mmmmm,

Or if the plan backfires and the speed demon keeps beating them.... How long do u reckon it'll be before HRC get desperate enough to hire a hitman?

I for one won't miss the 990 cc. More than 20% of the torque permanently capped (except in a handful of straights, all circuits combined). A heavy bike, with riders too busy struggling to counter its inertias almost everywhere, a bit weird to watch also.

The 800 cc. will beat the current lap times sooner than later.
