No collaboration of the race thread construction with MotoKitty? She hasn't got back on the boat to another island has she?

Where is Buddhist? Dude, you're lagging it. It's Thursday before race weekend. Mdub is only so patient. We can't sit around lurking forever to see when you post.

Just keep in mind.. The weather here in northern europe has been complete shit the whole summer. Rain every day. And it looks like it may rain on race day!

Rain on race day means Michelin will give Rossi the special rain tires that eliminate the dead spot at the 45 degree angle while everyone else gets the one's that do have the dead spot.

F1 has 4 races in July, and this weekend is the one weekend they do not have a race. GP is running then, so that tells you everything about the fucked up schedule.

I don't know what's worse, having a gap, or having the season run till November. If tightening up the schedule meant they finished in October, I don't know if this would be the worst thing or not.

Still it's not as bad as the MotoAmerica Superbike schedule which doesn't race again till September 9th-11th lol. Two months without a race is a fucking embarrassment.

Really, just run the fucking race and end the season, nobodies watching anyway and could not care less if the season ended in early Aug.

I have always said about bike racing being a fringe sport and the fans are fringe fans. You give them time to find something else to entertain themselves, they will. Out of sight, out of mind. Should never ever go over 2 weeks without a race.

Agreed. While I'd love the season to run from January thru December every year, it's not realistic in the least.

Starting in March and running till the end of September or early October with less gaps would be the most ideal way of running the season. The long season is only more compelling if there is a title battle, but if someone is running away with the title, only the diehards will continue watching unless it is Rossi running away with the title.

It has always been like that with f1 and motogp.. Bad scheduling.. I dont have a problem with the season running from march-november. BUT it better be a 20 race season with less gaps! 18 races aint enough and the damn brakes are too long and toooooo many.
