i can tell you this, indy wasn't impressive AT ALL, but i had a blast.

all i'm saying is, don't be so hard on places! open your little minds a little more. i often times have a blast in shit hole towns.

i have family in north texas & have had fun up there! sure, it's nothing special but there's a lot of cool shit!

I have lived all over the United States, and Germany... and so far I have not found a better place to live and run a business, now I will admit that I do not plan to retire here, but thats many years from now. As for the politics its all smoke and mirrors, the state government has very little power, and the cities are very liberal. Austin has its music scene, Dallas has its arts district and sports, and Houston has.... But the one thing that makes Texas great is that stuff gets done here, ideas come to fruition, and everywhere you look there are building projects.
