Great news.
Now the men behind the project have gotten everything they can from Wales, they're going to try again up here. Absolutely genius.
And they'll get away with it too cause there are no pesky kids to stop them.
I would imagine the fraud that has been sanctioned in Wales could well put that off.

What a surprise:

MotoGP News - Circuit of Wales gets fresh public funding rejection

I especially liked this part:

Quote:
But the plans look set to be formally shelved after the Welsh Audit Office reported significant shortcomings in the plan and projected jobs created to be much lower than the quoted 6,000 figure - quoting only 100 full-time jobs
It's what locals have been saying since it started. It;s just a shame the Welsh Government let itself get fleeced for millions before realising. Expect it to be a housing development in a few years.

It's the same worldwide. Countries being run by idiots, with corporations and criminals more than willing to take advantage of their stupidity and incompetance.

I Ride: The original
These people still have the contract for the British GP - so effectively they stage Silverstone.

Question is for how long though. If it becomes really publicly known then I can see it being a bad time for them considering the BP reactions at the moment to corruption.

Can you call and ask them to host the British GP at Laguna Seca compa? It's probably less expensive.

DORNA would rather have it in Italy or Spain than the US or any other market

Mind you, at least in Oz, the new track is well under construction

I'd love it to be Laguna, another great track that seems to have faded from Dorna's view.
