They've had problems with the bike since the start of the year. They apparently fixed the main problem now though, but it didn't solve the technical problem he had in the race.

Chassis, tyres, now electrics. The new M1 is a bucket of shit. It`s made for good racing though. Seems like the only time Rossi is faster than when he`s leading the pack is when he`s trying to catch up to it

Colin has taken that bike to the podium, and he would have done it again in Le Mans if he hadn't been thrown out of track by Rossi's kamikaze start.

The bike is good, Vale has just been unlucky.

I'm tellin ya fella's, Rossi looked as dangerous at Le Mans as I've seen him on a Yamaha. If you've got the race recorded, check out the aggression. Last time I saw him dig in like that was at Phillip Island when he got the 10 sec penalty and look what happenned there. I really believe the engine failure was just bad luck and won't happen again. If it pans out that they've really worked out the M1's problems, he's going to make a few people eat their words. Honestly, none of the other guys are consistent enough to rack up a handfull of wins while Yamaha wrestle with the 'Camel curse'. I watched the Le Mans race again yesterday and all I could think was, if that Yamaha is really sorted and Rossi can turn it on like that for the rest of the year, things are about to get boring. We'll find out at Mugello I guess.
