This weekend is the end of another era. An era that promised much and delivered ..... well, nothing. The era of Rossi and Ducati.

So lets have your most memorable moments of this era.

Once again I will start:

My most memorable moment was not one that could be viewed or read about. It is a moment that happened inside the mind of one Valentino Rossi. The moment when Rossi realised how unbelievable skilled and talented Stoner was to be able to win races on the Ducati and that there was no chance in hell he was going to be able to do the same.

My second most memorable moment was the absolutely pleasure of watching a MotoGP race for 2 years knowing that there was absolutely no chance of having to watch a clown act at the end of a race!

Also in Vale's mind... The moment when he decided to get off the POS Duc and, like Casey, move to a Jap brand.

When Rossi got on the Duc. and lapped about 3.8 seconds slower than Stoner.

The moment Casey looked like a knob slow handclapping Rossi, before calling Paul Hogan to get the worst put down in history.

I try to resist rossi bashing these days, particularly since it is likely to be even more unjustified from about 5 days on, but the "your ambition outweighed your talent" line wasn't imo lame, particularly if it turned an old line from rossi back on him as is reputed to be the case. Fairly mild compared to what jorge said to bautista this year, or even nicky hayden's reaction to dani pedrosa's similar take out of him in 2006, not that my lip reading is all that good .

I did see a replay of the helmeted rossi apology recently, and the shoulder reference which I didn't take much note of at the time was undeniably lame. ,

The bit about the shoulder was undeniably lame though.

To be fair I thought they both looked a bit lame there.

I prefered Chili barging into Foggys pit mouthing off myself!

I think he will just stop at pits and his crew wont come out .... so the bike will just fall over on its side alone, and Rossi wont even look back at as he walk through the garage....

Funniest bit of off track TV yet. ........ now why can't Rossi quit trying to entertain two year olds, and come out with stuff like that!!??
