Those that like to try to put Stoner down will obviously try to make this some big deal but in reality Honda offered Stoner what was important to him but he was simply not interested in staying in this broken and staged show. Lorenzo, so Honda and Yamaha believes is driven by money and ego so they offered him that. The fact he turned Honda down hopefully says he is not just about those things.
Is that your opinion or is it a fact?

They may have offered him more than CS simply because of Repsol, we all know what they want.

the point is that you always find something to belittle stoners achievements and while at times that was funny its getting tiresome.

no offense here, but its hard to judge when to ever take your posts seriously.

i'd like to think you know that on the gp10 nobody could have beaten a top rider on the best bike

Rog, it was reported at the time when they offered double his existing salary to stay that HRC had offerred double salary but less PR work as the incentive for him to stay through until the end of 2013.

IMO, HRC have done the right thing by trying to secure Lorenzo as he was the most 'in demand' signature at the time and (IMO only) a strong salary was required to get the initial attention.

Mind you, how much of what the manager is saying can be treated with truth , one does not know.

Don't remember where but I have read that more than a few times.

Think about it.... how many PR videos have you ever seen Stoner take part in?

I haven't seen any.
