i remember it like it was yesterday it was a painful experience, almost like somebody i knew had passed. that sinking feeling RIP dajiro....... welcome back ron

i remember watching the race too ..... not one im going to forget.

i found this quote by the trackside doctor, its quite comforting in a way. We used it in a memorialat a funeral for one of my friends, Jess, that died just about this time last year.

Dajiro died doing what he loved. That is an important thing to remember.

His popularity here exceeds that of Rossi, or even the MotoGP itself. You could ask someone who VR is, or what the motoGP is, and they`d have no idea, but ask them who Daijiro Kato is and they'll tell you he's their countries greatest motorcycle race, ever.
