If the Ducati stuff is true Euro 15K base should push him up from 35K total next year - he's certainly a lot more entertaining than Beckham, who thinks Dooooooo is a word, and Dale Jnr, whose biggest claim to fame is being the son of a real successful racer. Sore point - Rossi is the only bike racer in there

Yes he is, WRC. But he's going down anyway because Ferrari are paying him to not race their car while cotroen pay him to crash theirs.

oh I remember this one...a local TV company reported this one's since Manny Pacquiao ranked 3rd. Then they did the unthinkable mistake of stating VR is a Formula 1 racer. They also stated in the report that Kimi is also a Formula 1 racer. Made me so angry. If they wasted some 3 secs on Google, they'd know who VR is.

Are they paying him his 2009 Ferrari wage, or paying him what Rally drivers make. ? If they are paying him 40,000000, that is unbelievable, cause lets face it, that robot couldnt endorse sleeping pills

The 2010 list is out, but when SI first circulated this article the 2009 international list kept linking instead.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/spe.../index.20.html

Our Boy Rossi is #7. He was also #9 overall (international + USA) in 2009 according to forbes, and a quick compare with SI's estimates from 09 supports that decently enough.

Kimi took a huge drop as expected by most of us here.

$35 million a year...... and still Rossi is unable/unwilling to donate just a small portion of that money for charitable funds. I'm still sticking with my story that Rossi intentionally injured himself just to have an excuse to lose out this year's championship to his teammate WhoreHey Lorenzo. Yes, the guy will go THAT far.
