....are you jokin'..... McWilliams is back in Moto GP, I can't believe it!!!!? You can't keep a good man down I suppose but surely there is some youger, hungrier blood to choose from!

It's guys like this, Biaggi, Barros etc. that have blocked the youger riders coming through the ranks for a few years know I now they carry the sponsorship etc! I rate McWilliams highly but really, it's time to hang it up me thinks especially since he did naff alll in BSB!

I've heard the name and yeah he's AMA Superbike Rookie of the Year but there are many other relatively "undiscovered" riders here in the states that are much better than Perez. Danny Eslick is a great rider coming up through the FX and Supersport ranks, same for Ben Attard. Chris Peris was the third name in that group but he has gone to WSS. In my own personal opinion the privateer guys in AMA SBK are the guys who have gone about the whole deal wrong. The good talent is not some guy running a GSX-R 1000 out of his van, it's the 17 year old kid running the 600cc machine out of his van, securing a satellite ride and moving up in class and team.

Before this next statement I would just like to point out that I am a fan of Kurtis Roberts and think he is a very talented rider when he puts his last name aside for a moment. If you lot thought Kurtis Roberts' results were bad, you are in for something else. Kurtis Roberts will look like Kenny Jr. circa 2000 compared to what's to come from Jason Perez. Sorry if I stepped on any toes.

I dunno Ooost, this guy's got a WCM, that's a ticket to victory right there
Looks like we've got someone to rival Cardoso for the "What the hell are you doing here?" award for 2006

Even though McWilliams has been named on the 2006 season provisional list for WCM, he is playing down talk of returning to the sport as he feels there are other oppertunities to be pursued.

One of the opportunities he speaks of is riding in the AMA. When Buell launched their XBRR Formula Xtreme project (which still is in limbo as to whether or not is legal) they named Jeremy McWilliams as one of the riders.
