Me to. It's going to be interesting. MOTORCYCLE SPORTS 15 OCTOBER, 2018 TAGS: FONSI NIETOJESKO RAFFINMATTEO FERRARIMOTOENICO TEROLRANDY DE PUNIET The new MotoE World Championship is already ‘messing’ with the public expectations , at a stage where there are already some confirmations from the riders on the grid.A total of 18 riders will compete in five races at a distance believed to be between seven and ten laps in Jerez, Le Mans, Sachsenring, Spielberg and Misano. The Energica Evo Corsa will be the protagonist of service, reaching 100 kilometers per hour in less than three seconds. The confirmationsDynavolt Intact will have European Moto2 champion Jesko Raffin at the helm of his machine while LCR will have Randy De Puniet, a rider with extensive experience in multiple world championships. As for Nieto Team, the plan is to have Nico Terol on track. Pramac, meanwhile, will have Fonsi Nieto as star in this championship. For Gresini will be Matteo Ferrari. The doubtsOther than that, just a few names are certain. Maria Herrera was considered and can still be confirmed, such as Alex de Angelis or Troy Corser, it being certain that Stefan Bradl refused proposals from MotoE as well as Scott Redding. Tech3 should feature Kenny Foray and Broc Parkes, names still to be confirmed officially. Dominique Aegerter is trying to stay in Moto2 but the Supersport World Championship and MotoE are also possibilities. Sandro Cortese and Bradley Smith have also been associated with MotoE, but for now it’s all rumors, not least because Smith will be Aprilia’s MotoGP test rider and Cortese will fight for the Supersport world title. |
