It starts one week tomorrow!

Can't wait, Michael looks like he's going to be a handful based on his performance at the North West, he's been doing rounds of BSB to stay sharp too. Hutchy again looks good, especially on the stocker with a North West win and 3 podiums from 3 races in National Superstock 1000, McGuinness can never be written off, still the fastest man on the island, Bruce should be a threat, Gary Johnson has some good bikes under him, can Dean Harrison and James Hillier add to their single wins, will Hickman go even better this year? He's starting at #5 between Hutchy and Dunlop, his 131.6 was mighty impressive on the last lap of last years Senior but you need to be doing that speed from a standing start to win TT's.

I have a feeling Michael Dunlop is going to clean up on the big bikes, unlike last year when he had to ditch the dreadful R1 halfway through practice week he's going to be riding the bike he's been on all year and on which he smashed the lap record at the NW200. Despite all the shenanigans last year he still did manage a podium on the stocker and the second fastest lap in TT history with a battered shoulder and leg after his crash in the first race of the week.

Predictions...

Superbike: MD
Sidecar 1: Birchalls
Supersport 1: Hutchy
Superstock MD
Supersport 2: Gary Johnson
Lightweight: Hickman
Sidecar 2: Birchalls
Senior: MD

The great thing about road racing is you can't accurately predict what's going to happen, last year McGuinness was nowhere all week and then come the Senior....bang!
