Powerslide.net and MotoGPManager.com Team up for 2008

MotoGP fan website Powerslide.net has teamed up with MotoGPManager.com, the leading online motoGP fantasy league website for the 2008 season.

MotoGPManager.com provides motoGP fans a place to create their own virtual motoGP team and compete against other managers.

Every manager starts with the same budget, and you have to manage your team through the 2008 motoGP season - ensuring you buy and sell your riders, engines, tires and team to maximise your points scoring.

The motoGP fantasy league is based on actual race results, so if you know motoGP and you know which riders are good on which tracks, then you can make a transfer specifically for that race! But be careful, you have a tight budget and this is motoGP racing, and as you know - anything can happen in motoGP!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>“At Motogpmanager we had a lot of requests for some kind of messageboard. With the start of the 2008 season, we can offer such forum to all motogp-managers.

Motogpmanager is proud to announce a partnership with powerslide.net. We believe teaming up with powerslide.net is the better solution for all motogp & motorsports enthusiasts. Bringing the best of two worlds together.
Matthijs Bout – www.motoGPManager.com

Powerslide.net will provide mangers a dedicated section on the forum to discuss the league – from tactics and strategy to playing mind games with other fantasy managers!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>“We are pleased to team up with motoGPManager.com for the 2008 season. With the closure of our own fantasy league, we wanted to provide our members with an alternative.

After looking at various sites, I believe we are working with the best league. Their fantasy league is feature rich and this should make for a competitive season ahead.”

Ben Ellis – www.powerslide.net

With the first race of 2008 starting in March at Qatar, members are urged to create their teams now.

There is no charge to enter the fantasy league team and members can join up right now!

Hi M,

Yes they are Dutch

You do need to register on their website yes, we considered a "one-click-sign-in" from the forum, but due to privacy & security reasons we thought it would be best to let people join.

They also have superbike leagues & other sports

I wont have any excuses for not doing well this year not running it myself!

Cool. Should be fun...F1 and SBK too..yay.

Are we going to have a Powerslide.net subleague?
Can we change our teamnames - it seems it defaults to whatever our managerplaza username is?
And why are they called drivers when they are riders?

Looks fun. And Ben, you can win this year as you're not running it!

Think they had a couple of issues Jane, should be fixed v soon

Is everyone liking the extra features of this league!? I like the predictions, something that would have been good on ours.......but hard to integrate.

As for sub-leagues, I suggest somone creates a Powerslide.net sub-league that we can all join, a mini forum competition!

I'll still come last mind, dont know why I'm getting excited!

Ben.
