RIP Hazel Harrell

Thank you for your service.

Harrell was well known throughout motorcycle road racing circles as a regular worker at Road Atlanta’s Turn Seven. WSB-TV reports that she had served as a corner worker at the track for 15 years.

Fuck.

Did not know Hazel but whilst we so often think of the riders at times of accident, we all to often seemingly forget of the marshalls that are out there making our chosen sport happen as without them, our sport cannot go ahead and yet, these same marshall's will also at times pay a price that is to high.

RIP Hazell

That's to bad, just goes to show how dangerous the sport of racing is. You just can't predict with certainty what an object traveling at these types of speed are going to do when things go wrong. Are there any details as to how this happened, seems to be a concentrated effort to to keep what happened internal.
